The HIDE project (FP7) invites to the workshop "Restrictions in the Implementation of EU Data Protection Directive for Public Interest, Security and Defense" in Ljubljana, September 17-18, 2009.
Registration deadline: August 12, 2009.
This workshop is part of the activities in the HIDE research project: Homeland Security, Biometrics identification and prsonal detection ethics. HIDE is a research collaboration between 11 partners from Europe, Singapore and USA.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together representatives from the European government and non-government organisations, with the emphasis on the BAlkan region and the New Member States, to identify and discuss issues related to restrictions in the implementation of EU data protection principles.
