Conference on the EU Strategy for the Danube Region - Ulm

This conference will open the series of events, organised in the framework of the preparation of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region. The aim of the event is to explain why the strategy is needed and what is its added value, but also to gather all relevant stakeholders who are willing to be involved in the preparation of the Strategy, to present them process of its preparation and get the first input on the possible topics to be tackled by the strategy.

During the workshops, first input will be provided from the key players in the Strategy (EU institutions, Member States and other stakeholders) and main Strategy themes will be discussed.

Themes of the event :

  • Presentation of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region to the stakeholders
  • Discussion on the main topics to be tackled by the strategy (transport, energy, environment, risk prevention, socio-economic development, education, institutional capacity, identity / culture)

Location : Donausaal, City of Ulm Fairs and Exhibitions area, Germany (Baden-Württemberg)
