In the Workprogramme for the Theme 'Socio-economic sciences and Humanities' there is no specific mentioning of the Western Balkan countries, but there are some topics which generally call for participation of international partners and will profit from participating institutions from the region.

In general, "The Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities Theme favours the participation of researchers and research institutions from third countries in proposals that are submitted under all Topics open under this Call.
