'Innovation in Healthcare' Conference - Presentations Available

All presentations made at the event 'Innovation in Healthcare: From Research to Market. SMEs in Focus' on  20-21 May 2010 in Brussels are now available online.

The conferende programme consisted of a number of plenary and parallel sessions, such as:

  • 'EU-funded health research: creating opportunities for SMEs and innovation',
  • 'Technology transfer: bringing healthcare-research to the market',
  • 'Access to finance for SMEs',
  • 'Ingredients for innovation: research and entrepreneurship',
  • 'Instruments in place to support SMEs applying for a marketing authorisation',
  • 'Experience of the centralised procedure, a case study of the Regulation on Advanced Therapies (1394/2007)'.

The event was jointly organised by the Directorate-General of Research and the Directorate-General of Enterprise and Industry of the European Commission.
